About Thankful.Be! Creative Project

Eager to make music, yet you don’t play an instrument and don’t know where to start? Or maybe you

want to compose/improvise/create but you don’t feel comfortable in your music-creator skills?

'Thankful.Be! Creative' is a musical initiative inviting audiences and participants to express themselves

through their own creation. As ‘Thankful.Be! Creative’ workshop facilitators, we believe that music-

making is for all! No matter whether you play an instrument or not, music is a wonderful tool which you

can use in order to nurture your creative spirit. This project is there to help you discover this creative

spirit through a musical lens.

What can I expect?

The course covers:

- a brief overview of improvisation, composition and song-writing

- an introduction to song writing

- introduction to ways of linking music – literature – visual arts

Online Short Courses Requirements

This course will take place online using Zoom. A Zoom link will be sent to you in advance of the course

start date with further instructions.

To participate in online classes you will need the following:

- an email address

- a reliable internet connection

- a laptop/tablet/desktop computer with a microphone and camera (most have these included)

- speakers/headphones (the speakers in your laptop/tablet/computer should be sufficient)
